Q.) How long does the pie last?

A.) The pie lasts three weeks at room temperature and three months refrigerated.

Q.) How long do I bake the pie and at what oven temperature?

A.) Remove film wrap to expose pie. Preheat oven to 250. Place pie in oven on top rack for 20 minutes. Remove pie from oven. Let cool to room temperature before slicing. Serves 8-10. *Please keep in mind that the pie is ready to eat.

Q.) Can I have my order shipped today?

A.) Yes. If you place your order before 12:00pm CST, your order will ship same day. When placing an order online, you are allowed to select the delivery date you would like for the package to arrive.

Q.) What forms of payment are accepted for purchases?

Q.) Are your prices on the website the same as prices in the store and restaurant?

Q.) How do I change or cancel my order?

A.) To cancel or make changes to your order, please contact Customer Care at 713-529-1212 no later than 2:00 p.m. CST the day BEFORE your order is scheduled to ship.

Q.) Is the credit card information I submit secure?

A.) Yes. Every step of the online and phone ordering process that requests credit card information employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL_ encryption). SSL renders information unreadable if anyone should attempt to intercept it.

Q.) Will Goode Company sell or rent my email address information to other companies?

A.) No, your information is for our records only.

Q.) Can I purchase or redeem a gift card online?

A.) Yes. You can purchase a Gift Card online through our website, however, Gift Cards are not redeemable for online purchases. Please visit your closest Goode Company Restaurant for redemption.

Q.) Can I pick up my order at any Goode Company restaurant?

A.) Yes, please call us to make arrangements, 713-529-1212.

Q.) Can I pick up a smoked meat package vacuum sealed?

A.) No. However, you can place an order and we will be happy to ship to you via FedEx. You can also make arrangements with our BBQ restaurant locations to have one of our packages sold to you there.

Q.) Can I complete a multiple recipient order online?

Q.) Can I ship to multiple locations within a single order?

Q.) Can you insert my business cards, personalized greeting cards &/or promotional materials with shipments?

A.) Yes! We can insert a business card or other promotional item to advertise your company at no additional charge. However, you will need to make sure that you provide us with these materials 3 business prior to it shipping. If these materials, greeting cards &/or business cards are not in within 3 business days, they might be attached to the order.

Q. Do you ship overseas or out of the country?

A. No, we only ship within the United States.

Q. Do you ship to military addresses?

A. We cannot not ship to P.O boxes, APO's or FPO's.

Q. Do you ship to Post Office Boxes?

A. No, we do not ship to post office boxes. We need a current physical address for a prompt and hassle free delivery.

Q. Do you offer Saturday Delivery?

A. FedEx delivers on Monday through Friday to commercial addresses, and Monday through Saturdays for Residential Home Delivery packages ONLY.

Q. I wanted to ship my smoked meats Ground but this wasn’t an option. Why can’t I ship my products slower than 2 Day or Overnight?

A. To ensure maximum freshness, faster shipping methods are required for recipients located outside of a one to two day transit zone from Houston, Texas. However, if you are located within a one to two day transit zone from Houston, Texas, Ground will be an available shipping option.

Q. When will my smoked meat order be shipped if I selected 2 Day Shipping?

A. All orders placed before 12:00pm CST can be processed for shipment that day and delivered 2 business days from that date. Note that we cannot ship smoked meat products over a weekend, as that would exceed our 2-day in transit maximum.

Q. When will my smoked meat order be shipped if I selected Overnight Shipping?

A. All orders placed by 12:00pm CST can be processed for shipment that day and delivered the next business day from that date. Note that we cannot ship smoked meat products over a weekend, as that would exceed our 2-day in transit maximum.

Q. How long will smoked meats last in the refrigerator?

A. The smoked meats will last one week in the refrigerator. If you do not plan to use the product within 7 days, we recommend freezing it.

Q. How long will smoked meat products last in the freezer?

A. Properly frozen packages last up to a year. If you plan on freezing the smoked meat product, we recommend vacuum sealing the package. If you received the product via mail order, you products will already be vacuum sealed and it can go straight into the freezer. Make sure to use any packages that have lost their tight vacuum seal first to ensure the best product possible.

Q. Are all smoked products ready to eat?

A. All of the smoked meat products are ready to eat. Reheating of all meats is recommended and reheating instructions are sent with each package.
