An immigrant from Mexico, she was a figure larger than life in the minds of her children and grandchildren. A quiet woman, with a passion for cooking, she turned simple ingredients into the foods and flavors that would one day grace the tables of Goode Company Taqueria.
Just about anytime of the day you could find her in the kitchen cooking. She loved to tell stories about her childhood home, and she took every opportunity to teach the kids about the foods and preparations that had been passed down to her.
So in honor of his mother, Jim Goode created the Taqueria to showcase the food he grew up with on both sides of the border. The menu includes a little bit of everything. From mesquite grilled fajitas and chicken enchiladas to burgers and fresh cut french fries, there's something for just about everyone. And don't forget the big family breakfasts every day of the week.
