What Makes Your Pralines So Special?
Pralines were originally a French dessert item, but French immigrants in New Orleans soon created the “American Praline” substituting pecans, which were plentiful, for almonds, which were not. As a special touch, they added cream to thicken the praline to a fudge-like consistency. The delicacy soon became known throughout the South for its decadence.
At Goode Company, we have further refined the recipe, creating “Texas Pralines” that are:

How Many Pralines Come in a Box?
We pack six of our Texas-sized pralines into each and every box. You can choose a box of six original pralines, a box of six chewy pralines, or a mixed box containing three of each. The proportion of caramel, nuts, cream, and other ingredients make all the difference in chewiness, and some prefer one type over the other. Many others, however, consume them both with equal pleasure! Our pralines come in a fire-branded pine box that reads, "You might give some serious thought to thanking your lucky stars you’re in Texas" – it makes for a great keepsake. Each praline is individually wrapped to keep it moist and delicious, and you can take a few bites and re-wrap to finish later if you don't feel up to eating the whole thing in one sitting. Of course, you can always share your treasure.
How Much Time Should I Allow for Shipping and Handling?
Our praline boxes ship in only 3 to 5 business days, and their quality and freshness is 100% guaranteed. If ordering for the holidays, it's a good idea to place your order at least a week in advance to ensure your pralines arrive in time so that you can give them as a gift or put them out as welcome treats at a holiday feast.

I had never tasted a praline until I visited Texas and had one made by Goode Company at a friend's house. As soon as I got back home, I decided to order some Goode original and chewy pralines of my own!

Looking for the perfect gift for my close friend, I stumbled across Goode specialty pralines online. I ordered them and could not resist trying just one before giving them all away, and both my friend and I agree that Goode's pralines are the best we've ever had.
